Position Overview:
As an Assistant Bookkeeper at Primetivity Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by assisting with day-to-day financial management for our clients. Your attention to detail, passion for organization, and commitment to excellence will ensure our clients’ financial records are accurate, reliable, and compliant. Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management:
- Accurately record daily financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
- Categorize expenses and reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements.
- Accounts Support:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments or collections.
- Monitor invoices and expense reports for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies.
- Client Support:
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial documents or clarify transaction details.
- Provide professional and responsive service, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare drafts of financial statements, such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets, for review by the Lead Bookkeeper.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closings.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing tax-related documents or audits as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- At least 1 year of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management experience preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity across all functions.

- Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with the owner to develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies.
- Identify areas for growth and innovation, aligning with the company’s mission and values.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in business management, operations, or a related leadership role.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in financial management and analytics tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building and maintaining relationships with clients and team members.
